ChainCatcher 消息，据《纽约时报》报道，风险投资机构 Andreessen Horowitz（a16z）及其联合创始人 Marc Andreessen、Ben Horowitz 在本届中期选举周期中，累计披露联邦捐款超 1.15 亿美元，超越乔治·索罗斯（1.029 亿美元）、埃隆·马斯克（8500 万美元）及 Jeff Yass（8180 万美元），成为本轮选举周期最大已知政治捐助方。
相较于 2024 年选举周期约 6300 万美元的捐款规模，本轮捐款金额大幅增长。值得关注的是，2024 年 11 月 6 日（大选次日），a16z 即向加密货币行业主要超级政治行动委员会注入逾 2300 万美元，显示其政治布局具有明确的长期战略意图。
