CLARITY法案审议直播:参议员Lummis称是其职业生涯中最难推动的法案

Odaily星球日报讯 《加密货币市场结构法案》(即 CLARITY 法案)在美国参议院银行委员会的审议已开始,美国参议员、长期支持比特币的 Cynthia Lummis 表示,CLARITY Act 是其职业生涯中最难推动的法案,她称加密资产兼具商品与证券属性,而区块链技术带来的创新仍属新兴领域,因此法案需要大量跨党派协商与行业参与,而且还特别感谢多位民主党与共和党议员,包括 Ruben Gallego、Mark Warner、Angela Alsobrooks、Bernie Moreno、Thom Tillis 与 John Kennedy 等人在法案推进中的合作。
针对民主党议员 Elizabeth Warren 此前提出的消费者保护与执法担忧,Lummis 则辩称该法案实际上“有利于消费者”,并能够回应执法层面的关切,同时强调比特币在特殊情境下的价值,称其可以帮助遭受家庭暴力或生活在高压国家中的人“把财富记在脑海里并带走”,因为比特币私钥可以通过记忆保存。
